On awaking on the SyFy channel!

This morning, it was the immediacy of instant news with a NYT alert: 8.9 Quake & Tsunami hit Japan. Still sleepy, I tried to figure out if it was April Fool's Day. Regrettably, this morning, YouTube video was just a click away. Now Al Roker and Meredith Viera are giving updates on Hawaii and the West Coast. Is the Golden Gate Bridge imperiled?

 

We are still mending here in Baldwin County, as well as in Mobile, where F2 tornadoes destroyed homes & buildings on Ash Wednesday. It's a beautiful, crisp 39 degrees this morning in Fairhope. We'll be back into the 70s in a few days. The azaleas are starting to bloom, and soon they'll paint our world with color. I'll remember to breathe, and just 'be here now'.
