Lovelace Cook is an independent communications professional with an extensive background as a copywriter — technical writing, magazine features, newsletters, press releases, project & personnel profiles, websites and editing—for a wide range of industries.

Ms. Cook worked in NYC in magazine publishing and broadcasting for clients that included CBS Television, Condé Nast Magazines, Reader’s Digest Publications and Hearst Publishing. She studied screenwriting at UCLA and AFI and worked as a screenwriter in Los Angeles.

She received her B.A. and M.Ed. from the University of Virginia where she was in the first class of women and served as the first female photographer on The Cavalier Daily.

Based in Fairhope, Alabama, Ms. Cook is always looking for writing opportunities, new challenges and excuses to travel. Santorini, Mykonos, Rhodes are high on the favorites list.

Peru & Machu Pichu are on the wish list as are Milan and the islands off Vancouver.
